Whom should you bring wedding dress shopping?
Choosing your bridal gown is a happy moment, and a valuable everlasting memory. That is why the people you choose to accompany you on the shopping of you wedding dress is so important, and can seriously make or break the experience. So whom should you bring wedding dress shopping?

Whom should you bring wedding dress shopping?
- Less is more
If you are thinking how many people to bring to the appointment, the answer is always less is better! More people usually generate to many opinions and to little attention on you, on what do you want, and how do you feel.
- Bring your mum
We do normally recommend to bring your mother with you. In our experience mothers give you good advice and understand your style. So even if what she expect you to wear is different to what you expect, they always provide good advices and understand your ideas.
- Bring your sister
As with your mum, sisters usually provide good advices. And want you to look beautiful, plus they usually understand very well your style. Your mother and sister is usually our favorite team!
Should I bring my friends with me?

- Friends
This is a tricky one. Many friends are extremely helpful, they love you, understand your taste and want to help you. But in some occasions sadly it is not like that. You are the only one who knows this. So it is your choice.
We do recommend you not to bring the following friends:
Friends who have recently get married. Usually they have their wedding very recent and they are still living their own dream. It is very likely that they will end up talking about their own wedding!
Friends who are planning their wedding. For the same reason, they will be thinking in their own wedding dress and won’t be prepared to help you.
- Who is offering your wedding dress
Often your godmother, grandmother or aunt, wants to offer you the wedding dress as a present. And they usually want to come. Usually if someone makes such an offer is because they love you and want you to look beautiful, so they are usually a good advisor.
- Men?
It is not very common for fathers and brothers to be part of this moment. If they want to come they can be good advisor giving a masculine opinion. But if they are not very excited about they idea, and hate to go shopping, they are going to probably hate the experience and they won’t be useful. Or worst make you feel bad.
- Friendly Family and friends
As a general criteria you want someone to help fasten your buttons, not push them. You want people who are careful with you and their words, who are honest but in a loving way.

- Do not come alone.
Although you might think you want to do this alone. In our experience it end up being less pleasant than being with people who love you. If you are seriously considering to come alone, ask yourself, would you be able to take the decision and buy your bridal gown being alone? If the sincer answer is yes. Go ahead.
